Fundación
Pachamama
This is at the heart of Fundación Pachamama, the parent NGO of Pachamama Journeys. The foundation works to ensure that local communities benefit from the tourism experience, enhancing cultural preservation while providing opportunities for sustainable development. Through this collaborative approach, we foster authentic interactions that honor traditions and inspire a collective commitment to protect the Amazon.
Fundación Pachamama supports the indigenous peoples of the Amazon rainforest in achieving the consolidation and autonomous management of their territories.
Fundación Pachamama contributes to Sumak Kawsay (Good Living) in the Ecuadorian and Peruvian Amazon by promoting the conservation of the tropical rainforest through alternative models that strengthen climate justice and the self-determination of indigenous nationalities and peoples. Our organization accompanies the Amazonian indigenous nationalities in processes of asserting their collective rights, aiming for the recognition of their culture and the protection of their territories.
